Team Overview

The AI in Smart Society & Food research team focuses on integrating artificial intelligence technologies to create urban ecosystems and community environments that are safer, more efficient, and sustainable.

We develop various smart solutions based on Computer Vision and the Internet of Things (IoT) applied directly to public infrastructure. The goal is to digitalize public services, reduce traffic congestion, and automatically monitor the orderliness of public facilities.

Monitoring traffic flow and automatically detecting violations through distributed CCTV networks.
Public Space Security

Crowd analysis and behavioral anomaly detection in public areas for crime prevention.
Smart Waste Management Systems

Integration of mobile applications and sensors to optimize management and reporting of environmental waste governance.
